Recycling

Q: How can Fayetteville residents recycle? How about other Cumberland County residents (outside of Fayetteville, i.e. Hope Mills and Spring Lake).
A: Fayetteville residents can recycle by using the blue bins that were given to you (for recycling use only). Other counties can recycle and take it to the local recycling bin.
Q: Where is the closest recycling drop-off center to your house? (or our school)

A: The closest recycling drop-off center is Ann St. Landfill.
Q: Give 2 reasons why it makes sense to recycle.

A: Because it will not polute the Earth. Also because the recycled stuff is used to make other things we use in the future.
Q: Most people agree that recycling is a good thing. List 9 things that recycled plastic can be made into.

A: Recycled plastics can be made into bottles, shower stalls, recycling bins, scouring pads, paint brushes, industrial strapping, drainpipes, plastic lumber, and flower pots.
Q: What is the benefit of recycling glass?

A: Every ton of glass recycled saves the equivalent of 9 gallons of fuel oil needed to make glass from virgin materials.
Q: List 5 things that recycled metal can be turned into once it has been melted down.

A: It can be made into cans, automobile parts, siding, appliances and building materials.

Q: If your parent asked you for advice in picking out a new car, which car would you recommend? What criteria did you use? (you don't have to tell me what you think I want to hear)

A: I would tell them to get a Cadillac CTS because it looks nice. Also because it gets 20 MPG and thats better than other cars that only get about 10 MPG. So, I think the Cadillac CTS would be a good option, it can fit at least four people so thats good for me.
